The corporate social responsibility platform of \u201cSKOPSKO,\u201d \u201cOur Pride. Our Responsibility.\u201d, has proven that collective action brings real change. Over the past two years, with a focus on Lake Ohrid, numerous environmental initiatives\u2014from cleaning natural treasures to encouraging waste separation\u2014have mobilized citizens toward a greener future.<\/span><\/p>

In 2024, \u201cSKOPSKO\u201d organized two major cleanup actions for Lake Ohrid. In June, 170 volunteers and divers collected 120 cubic meters of waste from the shore and lakebed. In October, with the support of the \u201cAmphora\u201d diving club, 3,800 meters of abandoned fishing nets\u2014which threatened the lake\u2019s ecosystem\u2014were removed. By cleaning these so-called \u201cghost nets,\u201d the spawning grounds of trout are being restored, contributing to the return of endemic species to their natural habitat.<\/p>

This platform aims not only to educate but also to inspire citizens to sort waste and take action to protect our natural beauty. Through the \u201cEcomak\u201d app, \u201cSKOPSKO\u201d launched the promotional initiative \u201cA Point for You, A Point for Nature!\u201d, allowing citizens to recycle packaging and collect \u201cgreen points.\u201d To support this effort, Pivara Skopje, through \u201cSKOPSKO,\u201d donated two new vending machines in Ohrid and Struga. In just two months, 120,000 pieces of packaging were collected, and the initiative continues to expand across the country.<\/p>

This year, \u201cSKOPSKO\u201d continues its activities within the platform. Starting in March, a new campaign will launch, where a portion of the proceeds from every sold bottle of \u201cSkopsko\u201d or \u201cSkopsko Smooth\u201d with a special label will be dedicated to funding initiatives for the protection of our natural treasures.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
