On the occasion of the International Day of Human Solidarity, 20th<\/sup>\u00a0December, within today\u2019s event \u201cOne Family\u201d, SOS Children\u2019s Village awarded Pivara Skopje with the recognition \u201cStatuette for the biggest Corporate partner in 2020\u2033 and expressed great gratitude for the long-term financial support and the various volunteering activities of Pivara Skopje employees and the children and youth. This event, which is traditionally held by SOS Children\u2019s Village, is an annual ceremony of gratitude for the solidarity and support of donors.<\/p>

\u201cAs a company, we are particularly proud of our long-term partnership with SOS Children\u2019s Village. It is an integral part of our continuous support for the community and our socially responsible activities and initiatives in a number of areas to which we remain committed even in pandemic conditions. Within this action, we want to give a personal mark and contribution to improving the quality of life of the people and the community to which we belong. We especially enjoyed the meetings and gatherings with the kids at the SOS Children\u2019s Village with whom we share many beautiful and joyful moments, throughout the year. So far, our volunteers have been part of various activities with children, such as creating awareness for the protection of the environment by planting flowers and eco cleaning actions, a literary matinee to emphasize the importance of reading and learning from an early age, as well as various New Year activities to encourage creativity in children. This year, due to the pandemic, we are organizing a joint on-line New Year\u2019s program for the children of SOS Children\u2019s Village and the children of our employees,\u201d said Goran Sladic, General Manager of Pivara Skopje.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t

The SOS Children\u2019s Village points that it is especially important to show solidarity and selflessly help the vulnerable categories during a pandemic.<\/p>

\u201cWorking with vulnerable categories also includes activities that should raise awareness of the need for solidarity and the change that the community can achieve with the help of donors, especially with the help of the business community. SOS Children\u2019s Village is an international organization dedicated to the protection and enforcement of children\u2019s rights with a particular focus on supporting children without parents and parental care and children growing up in families at social risk.
