This award, referring to the framework of the \u201cBuilding Intersectoral Partnerships for Sustainable Development\u201d project which is funded by the European Union, and implemented by the \u201cConnect\u201d organization, confirms the leadership role of Pivara Skopje and its long-term contribution to achieving the global goals for sustainable development, as well as its significance and influence on the development of the domestic economy and the community in general.<\/p><p>\u201cWe are extremely happy and proud of this award that we experience as a verification of the constant, long-term investments and efforts of our company and all its employees in achieving the goals for sustainable development. They are carried out continuously throughout the regular operation of Pivara Skopje, as well as through the realization of a number of socially responsible platforms in areas such as: education and development of young people, providing clean environment and protection of water resources, promotion of health and safety, moderate and responsible consumption of alcohol, affirmation of gender equality and other areas that have a great significance for the quality of life of the entire community. Of course, this is of great benefit to the leadership and support we receive from the systems of Coca-Cola HBC and HEINEKEN where our company belongs\u201d, said Lambro Patce, Public Relations and Communications Manager at Pivara Skopje, thanking for the award.<\/p><p>In creating and implementing activities and platforms for sustainable development, Pivara Skopje has a long-term and strategic approach. In the realization of all projects, the company seeks to involve many partner companies, institutions, civil society organizations and individuals, and of course its employees and members of the management of the company, thus promoting the volunteer engagement as a special form of socially responsible action.<\/p><p>For its past commitments to sustainability, together with other members of the Coca-Cola HBC Group, for three consecutive years, Pivara Skopje was ranked number one in the world\u2019s beverage industry, according to the prestigious global ranking that makes \u201cThe Dow Jones Sustainability Indices\u201d.
