“Our Pride, Our Responsibility” is Skopsko’s long-term platform that celebrates what we value most – the nature and the authentic spirit of our country. For years, through real socially responsible activities and partnerships, we invest where we can make a positive change.

In 2023, the campaign “Together for a Clean Lake Ohrid” brought together thousands of nature lovers. From every sold 0.5L glass bottle of Skopsko and Skopsko Smooth, one denar was set aside and then invested in cleaning the shoreline and the lakebed, as well as installing floating barriers on the Sateska and Daljan rivers, two of the largest carriers of waste into the lake.

In 2024, we continued with strong actions to protect this pearl. In June, over 170 volunteers and divers collected 120 cubic meters of waste. In October, the partnership with the diving club “Amfora” resulted in the removal of 3,800 meters of abandoned fishing nets, so-called ghost nets, which seriously disrupt the lake ecosystem. With their removal, areas where trout naturally spawn are restored, and the return of endemic species to the lake is supported.

Within the platform, Skopsko also donated machines for sorting plastic packaging and introduced the activity “A point for you, a point for nature.” Anyone who sorts packaging and uses the “Ekomak” application collects “green points” and actively contributes to a cleaner environment.

In 2025, the story continued with a focus on the mountains and their beauty. Volunteers organized eco actions, and the investment was implemented on Shar Mountain where, in partnership with the National Park, new informative eco boards, tables, and benches were installed at the most visited locations.

The platform “Our Pride. Our Responsibility” has a clear mission: to show the power of collective action and encourage citizens themselves to be drivers of change.
