Pivara Skopje presented the new filling equipment in which the company invested over 1.4 million euros for procurement and installation, making the total investment of the company in the production of beer and soft drinks over 40 million euros in the past decade.
With a filling capacity that reaches one million bottles per day, the new sophisticated equipment increased the total capacity of the existing line for filling beer in Pivara Skopje by 30%. Additionally, due to its flexibility, the new equipment allows increasing opportunities and innovation in expanding the range of packaging beer in glass bottles with new forms and dimensions.
“We are witnessing a very important moment for all of us in Pivara Skopje, our partners, consumers and certainly the entire domestic beverages industry. This new, technologically advanced equipment for filling is much more than just a machine. It is an investment that opens a new chapter in the development of Pivara Skopje, but also new impetus to the development of the overall beer industry,” said the General Manager of Pivara Skopje Jovan Radosavljevic, stressing that “with the most recent investment, the total investment portfolio of Pivara Skopje in innovation, modernization of production and other segments, in the past 10 years exceeded 40 million euros, which ensures long-term sustainable development of the company, strengthens its competitiveness, as well as the strong positive impact on the community and domestic economy.”
The new modern equipment for filling beer in glass bottles is custom made for Pivara Skopje by the world renowned manufacturer of such equipment – the company Krones. The official start of operation of the new equipment follows a nearly three-month thorough preparation, calibration and testing of its performance, which provided all assurances that the new equipment with its advanced technical and technological capabilities will increase the level of reliability and speed in production and will retain the high quality of the beer.

An important feature of the new equipment for filling beer is its high efficiency. It is fully compatible with the systems for saving water and energy in Pivara Skopje, with which the company reaffirms its long-term commitment to environmental protection.
