Pivara Skopje is one of the founders of Pakomak and a key partner in building habits for sorting and recycling. Together we are developing the largest network of vending machines for collecting plastic and cans. We are driven by the idea that we should create a system that makes sustainable choices easier, faster, and accessible to everyone. Machines for packaging collection have already been installed at 85 locations across the country, and more than 50,000 citizens use the Ekomak app to collect “green points” for every properly sorted package.

In this partnership, Pivara Skopje also brings innovation. In 2023, we introduced tethered caps on plastic packaging across the entire portfolio of non-alcoholic beverages so that the cap and bottle can be recycled together. The solution is aligned with European standards, does not change the user experience, but contributes to waste reduction. With Pakomak, we share the same mission: a cleaner environment, less waste, and a system that moves the country toward a true circular economy.
