In the period 15 – 19 September, the “Kale” Fortress and the Old Bazaar in Skopje will be the world’s centre for aficionados of beer and good entertainment. Traditionally, and in partnership with SKOPSKO, the beer festival PIVOLAND will enrich cultural and entertainment life in the capital of the Republic of Macedonia.
Once a year, the “Kale” Fortress and Old Bazaar in Skopje assume their new role which only adds to their importance for the fine living in the capital of the Republic of Macedonia – they transform into “territories reigned by beer” and partying for all friends of the beer. PIVOLAND 2010 will offer its visitors a unique possibility for socializing and fun, in particular by delivering an attractive music programme “spiced” with delicious food and quality beer sold at promotional prices.
SKOPSKO was always known for its practice to be wherever its fans are. It is part and parcel of all celebrations of life and the happiness it brings to socializing and entertainment events. Thus, it is only natural for SKOPSKO to again appear as the general sponsor of this unforgettable festival of beer whose vivacity should most certainly be attributed to the visitors. It is the festival visitors who in the past years have proved that they know how to appreciate and enjoy the good party, which – as was the case before – is guaranteed by SKOPSKO.
In the course of the 5 days dedicated to beer festivities packed with diverse music programme performed at stages located on the entrance to the Old Bazaar and the Fortress, PIVOLAND visitors will have the possibility to enjoy the music offerings of about 30 bands and performers. The programme caters the taste of all generations, aficionados of music and good beer, and includes traditional music from Macedonia, legendary ex-YU bands, as well as jazz, pop, rock and dance performers from the country, the region and beyond.
