1. When and how did your story start in Pivara Skopje? Tell us more about your beginnings.

My story in Pivara Skopje started 35 years ago when I worked as an operator in a beer mill. It took a really short, six months, but for that period I still gained a great experience that allowed me to see new values in the work.

2. How has your career progressed?

Through the years I was allocated to more positions in the Finance sector.
I worked for a certain period of several years as a personal income officer.
Then, as a balance sheet, and since the beginning of 2003, I have been a cost accountant for fixed assets, inventory and spare parts. For a cost accountant, it’s quite dynamic and at the same time interesting work that brings with me a really big responsibility.
My responsibilities include:

• Updating invoices and fixed assets, ongoing investments, inventory and spare parts;
• Creation of fixed assets and inventory and putting them into operation;
• Proper management of the fixed asset register and Idle Asset and their revision,
• Preparation of protocols and applications for fixed assets;
• Timely recording of transfer of fixed assets from one to another cost center;
• Monitoring the age structure of the ongoing investments;
• Analysis of the register for domestic and foreign suppliers;
• Calculation of current depreciation and simulation for subsequent business plan periods of three months;
• Harmonization of the accounting records after the performed monthly and annual inventory;
• Preparation of data on fixed assets statistics on a quarterly and annual basis and
• Prepare examinations for purchases, write-offs, disposals and impairment of fixed assets, inventory and spare parts.

3. What was your dream at the beginning of a career and are you approaching it?

My dream has come true. I can proudly say that I feel like a real Pivarec. Certainly proof are the years spent in this company. Under the term Pivarec I mean a sincere person who has self-respect and respect for others, good cooperation and communication with everyone, who is devoted to his work, selfless, durable and has faith in himself.

4. What are the biggest challenges your sector is facing and how many employees do you have?

I think that the biggest challenge for our sector as Finance is a successfully completed monthly / annual calculation, successfully completed inventory, as well as a business plan.
By successfully thinking of the results that will be positive at the end of the day. My team consists of a total of 6 members.

5. How much Pivara Skopje motivates you to achieve your professional goals, and how much does it contribute to the personal development of employees?

Pivara Skopje as a company takes care of the employees, constantly invests in the development of people and thus knows how to recognize the quality work. Owing to the good organization of the management team, employees are constantly encouraged through various awards, recognitions and individual evaluations.

6. Do you feel that the atmosphere in Pivara Skopje leads to bringing employees together and creating better working conditions?

It is a privilege and a pleasure to work with a successful and professional team like ours where good communication and a positive approach are in place, with the closest colleagues in the sector and with the other sectors. We learn from each other and have mutual support. Most of the good work is due to good communication.

7. Can you set aside one achievement that you consider the highest in your career?

That is the participation in the SAP system implementation project in 2014 as a key user for Fixed Asset Accounting. An integrated project that enabled the acquisition of new knowledge and skills for everyone involved in the project.

8. How much work allows you to allocate quality time spent with colleagues outside of Pivara Skopje?

Despite all the obligations, we manage to get together with our colleagues, and of course our friendship with the colleagues who are already in retirement is not lagging behind. More recently we started to organize informal friendships with colleagues.

9. In what way do you spend your free time? Do you have a hobby, something that fills you?

I spend time with my family and friends. As a nature lover I often go to the mountains, I ride a bike and walk. I am happy.
