In the eve of World Earth Day, April 22, yesterday Pivara Skopje was visited by representatives of the US Embassy Dianna Palequin, Acting Chief of the Political and Economic Office and Arben Gega, economic /commercial specialist in order to acknowledge Pivara Skopje for its leadership role in the field of sustainable development.
During the visit, despite he was not able to physically attend, the General Manager of Pivara Skopje, Goran Sladic, addressed them on-line, mentioning the achievements so far and the strong commitments that Pivara Skopje has in sustainable development:
The representatives of the US Embassy visited the Waste Water treatment plant, and also visited AFB Production and were interested in the formula for success as twice being recognized as the best Coca-Cola in the world. The visit continued at the Educational Center, where they were informed about the progress and challenges of the free of charge training program for youth, “Skills for Success” during Covid-19.
The US Embassy provides continues support to Pivara Skopje, including through their partnership and participation in the volunteering actions “Are you recycling” that we had in the past few years, and the recent mentorship of US Ambassador Kate Mary Burns to Youth Empowered.
The visit was organized in accordance with the working Covid-19 protocols in Pivara Skopje.
